FACILITATORS NEEDED
Niche Ministry Group Facilitator
Each facilitator will co-host a group for which he/she has a passion. Their role is NOT to teach ... it is to FACILITATE a meeting's discussion and eventually assist a group who begins to start collaborating together.

No worries - you won't be on your own. The founder of Collaboration Philly will co-facilitate all meetings until the meetings 'mature' and have 2 to 3 co-facilitators

What does a Group Facilitator DO?\
-
Choose a niche ministry for which he/she is passionate. Do you have a heart for homeless? Addicts? Elderly? You can lead the group that is close to your heart!
-
Run a discussion group: ask questions, listen to learn, and KEEP PEOPLE ON TRACK if they start going down somewhat irrelevant tangents (but be nice about it)
-
Serve as a liaison between the group and Collaboration Philly: bring issues to our attention that the group feels burdened to address. Work with us to find speakers for meetings (when relevant), etc.
-
WHO MAKES A GOOD GROUP FACILITATOR? Typically, counselors, life coaches, and managers or executives who have experience managing teams of people. It takes a great deal of discipline to be a "neutral moderator" of a group. But Collaboration Philly will help you to become EXCELLENT at it!
