My name is Carolyn Scott Haslam.  I left my corporate 9-to-5 so that I can freelance my skills, and have time to build this ministry.  So, one thing you can do to support this ministry is to become a Sponsor.  Another is to HIRE ME!  My passion is growth.  One of my greatest strengths is strategy.  So I've dedided to offer a specific set of COMMUNICATIONS AND LOGISTICS SERVICES to Churches and Non Profits, at well below market rates. 

Digital & Print Strategies

It is becoming imperative that organizations have an ongoing communication strategy.  Hiring a full time person or an ad agency to manage communications costs a minimum of $3,000 per month and sometimes much more.

Because of budget issues, many organizations add the work to a staff person's to-do list, or find someone to volunteer to do it.  But in both cases, consistency and quality can be compromised.   

​

For many small to medium sized organizations, working with someone like me is the perfect solution.

Since my passion is for "Kingdom",

  • I understand your mission far more deeply than a secular agency ever could

  • my prices are far below industry norms.  

  • I think strategically about who you are, what you do and who you want to reach, and suggest appropriate media options.

I offer content and design services that include:

  • Print Materials - brochures, business cards, post cards, posters, banners, programs etc.

My services are offered both ala carte or in strategic bundles. 

 

Each organization has different needs and resources, and I work with you based on yours.

  • I can create all these things from scratch, or modernize and update what you already have

  • I can set up templates for your staff or volunteers to use ongoing, or I can be the person who perpetually generates your content.

Event Management

Fundraisers, Community Outreach, Collaborative works with multiple churches ... these things need a point person.  Many churches don't have someone  on staff who can handle an additional workload, and it is rare to find a volunteer who can take on that kind of workload for free.   But, event planning companies are typically very expensive, and rarely (if ever) will cut their expense by working with your volunteers.  

 

That's where I am different.

I am like a wedding planner for your event.  My goals are to:  

  • understand who you are, what you want to accomplish and who you want to reach.  

  • work with YOUR staff and volunteers to get it done

  • bring outside resources (IF needed) to fill the volunteer gap (IF there is one). 

  • help you and yours to market the event through strategic avenues of communication (see other column)

 

My role is not to do all the work for you (unless you want to pay me a lot more money).  It is to manage the staff and volunteers so that everything gets done but no one person is doing all the work.  Because I'm managing staff and volunteers on your behalf I cost a lot more money than a typical event planning company.
